Doris Bernier is a native of Maine, and a graduate of the University
of Maine, in Orono. She retired after 24 years as Director of Social
Services in a Nursing-Rehabilitation Center.
She has been involved in several art groups for many years. Upon
retirement she studied Oil Painting under her husband, Charles
Bernier. She has participated in many shows throughout New England
and has won several awards. Her paintings hang in many private
collections. Her painting depict scenes of New England.
